About Us

The garage was founded in 1867 by a great man. We can say he was great because the automobile hadn't even been invented by then. The business started off slowly but over time it grew and grew until every car in the world could claim that at one time it had been worked on by at least one person at the company.

The business has been passed on from generation to generation, and is currently run by Neil Smith, a handsome swash-buckling sort who likes licking poisonous frogs.

Mike Smith, the founder, used to be a pirate who would sail the six seas (he wasn't keen on the seventh) and would steal from other seafaring folk, selling the loot to traders from afar in exchange for spices and mirrors. On arriving back to his native England he hung up his eye-patch and peg-leg and answered the call to help vehicles back to full health. He is now an irreplaceable part of the team. Mostly because he won't leave.

Neil used to negotiate with governments and terrorists to release their prisoners and can boast a 52% success rate in these negotiations. His negotiating has seen him work with many high profile organisations including the FBI. MI5, the SAS and Manchester United.

All of these mechanics coincidentally have the same hero: Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, although they also have a soft spot for the yellow Power Ranger. Oh, and one of them spends every Tuesday quoting Gandhi but we're not going to say which one!

Anyway, book your vehicle in with these guys, they'd like to see it. Who knows, they might even be able to fix it.
